    Stuck at loading screen

I'm using the latest version of Mooege and the open beta weekend client of D3.

I can log in to the server fine, and create a character, but when I try to start the game, it just sits at the loading screen. I've left it for a while but it doesn't load, no errors in the Mooege window as far as I can see. Any suggestions?

Oddly, that's what fixed it for me. I find that I have to start with a new character every time I launch, though, or it still won't load.

Did you first download the files via MadCow or copy them from your beta diablo install folder?

I copied them from my install. When that didn't work I downloaded MadCow, and used the main repo (mooege/mooege). Are you launching the game through MadCow or just using it to copy MPQs?

Dudes, I had the same problem, but with german version. I then used MadCows MPQ (all of them) and tried launching it via the prog it self. And it worked, it fixed the problem. Same resault if you copie the MPGs in the Mooege Folder and launch the Server manually.

No Problems anymore. But one question:

Is it normal, that right-cklick-attacks wont work and many other stuff too? I practically have to create a new char every time i launch the game....

I think so. Remember that this is an emulated server so it's far from perfect, and far from being done (WoW's emulators still aren't working 100%, and they've been in development for years). Still, it's a nice peek at the game for those of us who didn't get into beta (or who couldn't even get the damn game to install during the open beta :P).

Alright, let's get back on the subject. I have a D3 9359 version installed and updated. I get MadCow. I choose the main repo mooege/mooege, choose the MPQ path in that repo, copy files via MadCow, download files, config the IP settings, start and not even diablo opens.

No, the important thing is, to download the MPQs over MadCow and not import them from the game! In MadCow go to "help" and then "Download MPQs". Select every MPQ. This will make the server load those and not from the game. The game MPQs dont work at the moment, but MadCows should work.

Nope, no error-message. And there should be around 19 more MPQs to check. Maybe you try recompile MadCow or you try a pre-compiled version.
