    Newie memory editing

    I have programming experience but I am new to read memory.
    I've been several days reading tutorials in this forum.

    Up to now reach the dynamic memory, I get to access hp / mp, names etc, but is dynamic, and when you restart the wow disappear, obviously ...

    The only thing I managed to get static information has been an example of this forum, is a playername:
    Code:
    BlackMagic wow = new BlackMagic();
    wow.OpenProcessAndThread(SProcess.GetProcessFromProcessName("Wow"));
    IntPtr baseWoW = wow.MainModule.BaseAddress;

    string playername = wow.ReadASCIIString((uint)baseWoW + 0x9BCA38, 256);
    listBox1.Items.Add("Player Name: " + playername);
    I have read the tutorial to get information to the "Ida Pro", but I have no results
    I also tested with the EC, seeking basepointer + offset, but the base pointer changes!

    would want to know if you have any GOOD TUTORIAL, to explain what they discuss, some tutorials are old and obsolete
    which is exactly: Basepointer + offset, playerbase, how to find a static info (hp, mp ect)

    I know when wow changes versios, the info of stacic pointer are changed too, for this I want know how to find it!

    Thanks you ^_^
