Account IP tracking question

I've heard that BW tracks the physical location you log in from quite closely and uses a system of flagging that can get an account locked if you change you "home" location. As in, if I go on vacation and log in for a week from somewhere else it's OK but if I move to a different state my account will eventually be locked until I verify my identity. Does anyone know if this is true?

Maybe, It asks me for a security question every time I log in from somewhere else so It's plausible that it would flag your account.

Just speculation on my part though.

I'm thinking this would cause a lot of problems if they did it by HWID, i'm sure it just caches somewhere in your swtor directory

It is by hardware, when i first started using my secondary pc to bot on it asked me the questions. They might use location basis as well.
