[Confirmed] Pull anything that you can see - regardless of range!

discovered this by accident, but after some testing was proven to be working 100% of time.

Me: jedi consular, lizard pet from first zone.

Step 1: order pet to attack target (i use ctrl+1) - distance doesnt matter, you just want him to enter "attack mode" basically
Step 2: cast a buff on your pet (all of my tried buffs worked)
Step 3: The mob is now instantly aggroed on you, even if its halfway across the map.

    Enjoy

Does this work with companions also?

Confirmed. I've been frustrated at this for some time, though. I send a pet in then cast static barrier on him, and the mobs aggro even though the pet is far from within range. So I get lit up from ranged mobs before my pet can get within distance to taunt. Ugh...

Am I doing this incorrectly? When I send my companion to attack, I get entered into combat. When I buff him, the mob will usually aggro to me and drop combat.

Not sure if I see the point of this bug.

Edit: I was looking at it from the perspective of perhaps pulling mobs far away from their current location, my fault. (i.e. bosses to towns)

All the mobs still have a leash range. If you pull them from way way way way way way way far away, and they have a leash range, they will still reset at some point. That does not prevent them from getting pulled, however.
