Figured I'd share really briefly that after maintenance (It's been a few days since I originally opened this bag in particular) the contents of a champion bag in my inventory changed.

So if you don't like your roll and gear just close out the window and try again in a few days or wait until Tuesday maintenance.

This might work... If I remember correctly this happened in WoW too with some of the holiday event containers.

Well it was a theory for a reason, disappointing.
