    CE and Companion Rep

Pretty simple CE, but im a CE scrub and glad i found this out solo, wanted to share my first technical "hack"

    1. Get companion out, Ill be using Malavai Quinn, and find out your current rep by mousing over the rep bar in Crew Skill window.
    2. Input your current amount in to CE as Exact Val, Search.
    3. Give a gift that will gain any amount other then zero, repeat step one and step two.
    4. Should leave you with one address and value you can change to 10,000 (max rep)

(EDIT) Only visual, I forgot how to make it actually stick. I know it has something to do with replacing the address in the "What writes here" window, but still scrub as said. one of you elites mights have it?

Using a big-name tool typically means nothing unless they directly target it (which can easily be bypassed due to CE being open-sourced). And also, I might be completely wrong, but I would think that companion rep would be stored server-sided (thus why your edit was client-side only).

Yeah changing the value client side has no effect on the server server's stored information. There is no response needed from the client with regards to the rep value thus there's no way to even edit a packet sent back to them, this is as hopeless as trying to tell the server you have 10 billion credits. CE is a fine too, but don't waste your efforts trying to modify something like this, its a dead end.
