    Damage meter possible?

I had an idea for how to make a damage meter for this game

but I don't know if it's possible to do this stuff, as i have absolutely no experience with memory reading at all

so, my idea was that... when you do an ability in swtor, your client sends the ability data to the server, and the server sends the damage information back to your client and the damage number is displayed on your screen

for it to be displayed on the screen, it must be loaded into the memory, right?

so, would it be possible to make a program that simply reads the damage numbers from the memory, then saves them into a .txt file so they can be parsed?
