Mercenary is pretty damn good imo. Quite easy to faceroll with
Sith Sorc. 65% of imperials are sith sorc :P
My friend can spam Tracer Missile with trinkets up for 6k - 6.5k.
Operative is the "best" pvp class from what i have seen, Darkness Assassins is getting a buff next patch will make them a lot stronger and a very good solo queue class.
Wish i had some creativity.
My mercenary does quite well with Tracer Missile spam =)
PVP wise (and i've done quite a bit of it myself -- currently level 54 valor), as a healing sage, getting attacked by every class imagineable via the "KILL THE EFFING HEALER" mentality, i would easily say, without a doubt, sentinels / marauders in good pvp gear are the most OP end game at the moment. I can usually live through operatives spam pretty easily now, but the consistant hard hitting attacks of these 2 classes just tears me apart. Not to mention, they have rediculous survival abilities that make them near impossible to kill if played correctly.
Again, I have to re-emphasize though, UNTIL sents/marauders get a good amount of pve/pvp gear, they are pretty crappy. After that point, its pretty much GG everyone else.
post once you know what you're talking about, assassin/shadow is 10x more broken than operative/scoundrel
get some expertise

and yes, at max gear like the guy above me said, marauder/sentinel and assassin/shadow are the best classes (mainly assassin/shadow)
best healer:
1. merc/troopers
2. sorc/sage
3. operative/scoundrel
Since you will probably play alot of huttbal, pick sorc, without a doubt they are overpowered on huttball. Not because of damage or 1vs1 survival(which they do excell at) but because of utility. They can dash very far with the ball(this dash removes CC when activated), they can also grip the ball handler to them.
td;dr Team with most sorcs wins most huttball games atm, until they make ball carriers unable to dash/force leap/be pulled, they are overpowered.
A fully Champion+ geared Healing Bounty hunter. Put him, and me being a immortal jugg full champ, take 2 on 8 any game.
The Original That One Guy
-Through victory, my chains are broken.
50 - Immortal Juggernaut
The only thing I've gleaned from this thread is that there is no current best class, but a few stand out.
IMO, play what you find fun and who knows, next month, the class you pick may be the OP class.
All these idiots saying Shadow/Sin is more overpowered are ****ing retarded. I as a guardian can take on and have a CHANCE against a Shadow/Sin if I play him/her correctly. A operative/scoundrel is ENTIRELY overpowered and utter bullshit. They can stun lock you while every 3-4 seconds deal 2k dmg (and mind you this is based off today when a lvl 23 did this to me). They can also range you while they're at it.
An assassin is the same as a rogue in WoW, they can be annoying but die very easily when you put damage on them.
it shouldnt be a matter of having a chance. I have a level 15 Assassin and i faceroll every level on it(have not quested since level 10, jsut straight queing) , yet its harder to do on my level 50 BH. The class is way op and takes no skill to play. So like i said, it should be skill that topples class, and assassins take no skill, just class. If maul didnt do so much damage it would help.
(in all fairness it might just be the resemblance to rogue, and my skills of kiting the target, but HIGHLY unlikely, just don't use this against me)

A chance is not more than no chance at all? They're both overpowered but the topic was the MOST overpowered class. And that goes to Scoundrel/Operative. It can deal mass damage, stun lock, and also compete in range. How is that not an overpowered class?
The best way to tell the most OP classes is to see the population. Right now in every warzone there is a mass influx of Sins and Ops. Then you have the occasional Sage, Guardian, Commando.
