Keep Companion From Dying

Have a mob you want to run by and don't want to fight?

Run past and let your companion take the heat. Once in safe range send your companion on a mission before they die and they will instantly go on mission.

I seem to remember that you can log out and then in, and the companion will spawn at your side.

what you could do instead is turn them to passive, they will port beside you.

OR you could just let it die, dismiss it and summon it again.

OR you could just mount up if outside, if you have a companion out and mount he disappears then unmount and he comes back at 100% hp. Even if he was dead when you mounted.
