    Updating from 1.12 to Wrath

    I'm wondering if i have a fully downloaded 1.12 WoW folder and a 4.X folder with all the wrath patches and a 1.XX to 3.X installer can i update the 1.12 folder to patch 3.X and still have it work rather than download another 20 gig folder?

    Well yes you can upgrade from 1.12 but then you'll no longer be able to play 1.12 anymore, so if you wanna keep both clients, then you'll have to download another 20 GB
