NPC not staying mounted menu

    NPC not staying mounted

    Hey,

    I've been messing around with NPC's for a bit and I noticed that they aren't staying mounted after a server restart. I'm using the ".mount #" command, and they attack, walk, and everything properly from the mount but after I re-start they are dismounted again. Is there any way to keep them mounted through a restart?
    I know there is a way to keep them mounted because on another ArcEmu server I worked on a year or so ago they would stay mounted through a reset.

    I'm running one of the latest ArcEmu revs, and one of the latest WhyDB revs. (I compiled 2 days ago)

    You need to change it in creature_spawns then restart the server.

    UPDATE `creature_spawns` SET `mount` = 'displayid' WHERE `entry` = 'npcid';

    I think that's the correct column name.

    Ah thank you once again ^.^
    Just so I fully understand this...

    If I spawn 10 Guards I will need to look for each ones specific spawn and set the mount, and only the Guards that I set with a mount will have that mount? (I think this is the way it works atm)

    Edit: The field is called "mountdisplayid"

    Yes.

    Each creature has a unique GUID, (id in creature_spawns), you need to change the mount for each GUID.
