Your gonna have to lurk the EA forums like everyone else. It seems that each person has there own "personalized" issue.
I for instance ran fine up until the patch yesterday. However I could only play on the lowest grafix settings, and it was a bit jumpy.
After the patch I updated all my drivers, and played 2 hours of COnquest Large - Caspian Border.. with 63 other douchebags @ Ultra everything without a hiccup. (It was beautiful)
Logged out to make dinner and chat on MSN for about an hour .. when I logged back in I can't play for more than 5 - 7 mins. I crash directly to desktop with no error message. like I never even launched the game. I can't even get it to run without being on low settings.. and the ONLY place I lag and freeze is on the deploy/loadout screens.. WTF? ..
Anyways .. I am lurking forums myself to get this fixed.. cause that 2 hours at ultra everything .. was ... well lets just say I had to take my pants off .. it was that good!
Good luck! ..

The problem is simple. Your laptop isn't up-to-spec. BF3 REQUIRES at least a dual-core processor to even start. The CPU in your laptop is only single-core.
