A little sniping tip from me.

Small tip. For players that don't know when you use a sniper scope it puts a flashlight effect on you when you scope. This gives away your position and makes you an easy kill.

My fix for this was to simply stop using the scope. You literally lose zero accuracy (as far as the bullet itself) and with the SVD can even rush. I've been using it all day (add me @ Wuvluv) and been doing 40+ kills 2:1.

Anyways, sniping is much better overall if you just don't use a sniper scope. (I know it sounds stupid but atleast you can hide.)

A little sniping tip from me.

What do you mean by "flashlight effect"? Sun reflection?

Can't you use one of these in bf3?

Nope AFAIK you have no sun negation tools.

It's their way to stop kids from humping bushes, sadly using no scope is just as effective as using one if you are worth a crap.

FYI, you can use up to a 4x scope and not get lens flare.

My favorite is using the 870 shotgun with the slug bullets and 3.4x zoom. Its more accurate than most snipers, and delivers a 1 hit kill at nearly any distance. If you have a steady aim be ready dof the 40-5 and to be called a hacker if defending.

Nice tip there. Always got killed when using recon. FYI, I'm just at rank 2, a newbie. Haha.
