hamachi = dangerous O.o

dont know if posted before or anything..but this is something i didnt know after using hamachi for some months...
ALL the users of the hamachi (on the same server of course) can browse your computer files or what not...
i dont know if you guys know it :P but for those who dont ..lol :P

Well, if I recall correctly, the security section in hamachi has an option to disable vulnerable windows services (I'm pretty that this includes file-sharing). If that doesn't limit public access I don't know what will.

They can only view them if you have your folders shared.

Exactly. Its just like being on a LAN, all they have to do is type "\\FAKENAME" But replace the Fakename with whatever you called your PC. So as long as you dont put your nasties

Someone doesn't know how to secure a Windows box on a LAN. It's not Hamachi's fault, its your fault. Stop spreading FUD.
