[Discussion] Your favorite DotA heroes

In this thread we share #1 heroes from Warcraft 3: Defence of the Ancients.
Some information on why you prefer some heroes to others would be nice!
You can as well discuss the hero skills, items and spells.

As an OP I'll start. My favorite heroes are:
-Sniper, I really like the playing style of this vulnerable but yet so lethal hero. Assassinate is a really fun to use in combination with e.g. lothar and nothing beats a good start-game harrash.
-Alleria, mastering the stun mechanics and maxing the skill makes this hero really fun to play on. Some times pure mana regen itembuild is enough to make this hero deadly to others.
-Nevermore, this one is an old favourite I used to play a lot on. Usually went for a fast Butterfly or played around with the ulti + lothar/invis runes.
-Troll, does not really need explanations. Foresting is fun, being a hardcore end-game carry is fun as well.
-Enchantress, my favorite support hero. Impetus is so damn amazing skill and nothing beats the ability to dominate multiple creeps and heal your team members.

My opinions on heroes change often, I personally like every hero.

The heroes I've been picking lately in AP games are Furion, Pudge and Rubick.

Furion can be good both early and late game depending on the item set you pick.

I can land some killer hooks as pudge.

Rubick is a bitch early game because his chain lighting thing is OP. Late game depends on the spells available to steal, but the levitation spell comes in handy.

Also, do you play on DC bots?

I like Rubick as well, he is invincible in early game but requires skill in end-game. You also need to make your item decisions based on the spells you are able to steal.

I do best with bounty hunter, visage and rubick. Even though any hero that has stealth/blink is good for me, these 3 own and here's why:

BH - Depending on enemy team, you can do whatever, go more "tanky" or even make dagon and drop them dead
Visage - Once you master controling your birds, you become invincible, having atk speed drain, nuke, heal(need meka), armor reduction (either a desolator or curiass is a must have) and stun
Rubick - If enemy team doesn't know how to counter you, it starts getting funny. You steal whatever you like, and own them

Other then these, I had a lot of fun with:

Pudge
Axe
Templar Assasin
Queen of Pain
Doom

My favorite hero's so far is

Sand King
Venomancer
Outworld Devourer
Weaver
Puck

I can recommend Sand King/Venomancer combo in pubs.

Sand Kings stun Burrow Strike (stun) + Sandstorm (escape/damage/invis)

Combined with Venomancer's damage and dots is completely insane.

Basicly you max out Burrow strike and sandstorm on sandking, getting a fast urn and Arcane boots

on Venomancer you max out his first ability and his first passive (dot) and go for a fast venom orb.
