Star Wars the Old Republic is now available for pre-order at select retailers! The price is very high for a pay to play mmo, but if you're like me and have been waiting years and years for this mmo to come out, then it's worth it. Here's more info on the pre-order from the site:

I think it it is defintaly worth it to pre-order now so that you can start playing on release date. This is an exciting announcement as it means the game is closer to release! I for one defiantly can't wait!

Pre ordering will also get you into an early beta!

No you don't get into early beta, you get to play on the live servers a week or two before, and can keep the char when the full release hits shelves

Well first I would like to test the game and see how it is before pre-ordering, hope that some trial will be available.

Well then how am I gonna know if I'll like the game or not?..

You don't, like most games when they come out, all you can do is watch gameplay videos and listen to what people say, and take a chance, but its alot like wow from what i hear, except a few things, and there is the story thing in it, but if you like bioware games, then you'll like this one, thats all i can say

Yes I do like Bioware games (I finished both SWKOTOR 1 and 2 when they came out), especially Mass Effect series, great games, great storyline & gameplay.

Well a beta tester said that the game was mostly like ME, so you shoulden have any reason to worry then mate
