    SubZoneID Offset, anyone?

    Greetings,

    I've been looking for the SubZoneID Offset for some time now (again) and seems that i can't find a correct offset.

    Anyone have it? Then please share it, much appreciated

    Sincerely,
    Joey

    SubZoneID = 0x88F678 (REBASED)

    Pretty sure I've answered this question before a couple of patches ago so I'll just tell you how I got it:

    1. Get a DBC editor and open AreaTable.dbc
    2. Find the id of the subzone you are currently in (e.g. Valley of Heroes in Stormwind)
    3. Use Cheat Engine to search for an integer with that value
    4. Repeat step 2 after moving to a new subzone (like Trade District - also in Stormwind)
    5. Rescan using cheat-engine and the id of the new subzone
    6. I was left with two static (green in Cheat Engine) addresses - both seem to always point to the SubZoneID so using either of them will do

    EDIT: Damn forums have something against paragraphs - keeps eating my newlines
