Simple Bot

I have a personnal chalenge wich is to create a simple bot for wow, just to learn how to interact with programs(games)...

Yup. Look up ReadProcessMemory and WriteProcessMemory. Also lookup sending input messages to a window, or use ClickToMove.

I am very interested in this, I want to code my own bot, too.
My question is: What language are you using?
I'm using VB2010 atm but I stuck in some way. I don't know if it's even possible (for me) to create a bot in .NET. I think I've seen several bot's in this language but I really think I fail :/

(I hope my english isn't too bad, because I'm french...)

So I think I should read tutorials and articles deals with Pointers, isn't it?
