    Rift Interactive Map

Hi people on MMOwned, I've created a Flash based Map of Telara, which should provide Rift players with useful information and destination or various points of interest.
At the moment the map is still in it's beta phase, and I'm still working on adding a lot of additional content to it, but even now it should prove useful.
You can download the Map for offline use.

    Current features:
    • Shows all Puzzles, and all Cairns known to me. You can mouse-over a Puzzle or Cairn to see the maximum level of the reward. Disabled by default.
    • Shows all Porticulums in Telara. You can change settings only to show Defiant or Guardian Porticulums.
    • Shows all Instances in Telara. You can mouse-over an Instance to see the level range of that Instance.
    • You can mouse-over a zone on the Worldmap to get more information on the zone.
    • Gatherables Quick Fact shows the materials you can gather through Butchering, Mining and Foraging in the zone you mouse-over. Plants disabled by default.
    • Instance Quick Fact shows the name of the Instance found in the zone you mouse-over.

You can use Settings to choose which things you want to track on the map.
I'm still collecting data on gatherables and cairns, so the material which spawns in which zone could be slightly off.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you can use the map.

Nice cosplays, really. Personally I love the Zero and Black Knight.

kinda like riftmap.com, but in flash?
[edit] nevermind, less interactive then riftmap, just shows basic info. Nice for a starter project, but will be one of those things people goto once, and not repeatedly.

At the moment riftmap only shows instance locations, tin lode spawn locations and a lot of artifact spawn locations.
Rift Interactive Map shows where you can expect to find any gatherable material, the location of porticulums, instances, puzzles and cairns, and you can download the map in a single flash file, for easy storage on disk, and offline use. You'll have to wait for my map to load before you can browse it, but you won't have to wait for map parts to load while you brows it.
Both maps aren't complete yet, but at the moment I can see various ways my map is more practical and useful than riftmap. So I find the mocking tone of your reply ill placed, and uncalled for.

The Rift Interactive Map has been updated with additional features since I first posted this thread.

You can now click on zones to enter a zone map, which allows for more accurate measuring of the marked locations.
You can see the coordinates of the mouse.

The Rift Interactive Map has had a lot of updates since my last post. It now shows all Puzzles and Cairns, maps of Meridian and Sanctum has been added, together with locations on various NPCs in Freemarch, Silverwood, Stonefield and Gloamwood. A new Fullscreen button has also been added to the map too.

I hope the new updated locations and functions prove helpful.

Today I finished and released v. 1.0.0 of Rift Interactive Map. A lot of minor and major changes has been made, and it now covers all Porticulums, Instances, Raid Instances, Sliver Instances, Puzzles, Cairns, Ancient Wardstones and various NPCs located throughout Telara with exact location of everything.

It also has a lot of useful features which should make the Map even more helpful.

Further more, an Android App is currently being worked on together with Adam Vogel, which should we hope to have ready for release shortly, so people can have access to a mobile version of the Map on their android phone.

Clicking the Banner in OP will lead you to the website.
