Very nice! But please.. It's really a shame seeing so many typos and mistakes in the NPC and Quest Texts. That's usually a main reason for me to not play on a server (especially those chinese-ish ones where every word is spelled wrong)

Kagekongen: This is the same repack i made in 2009, ne6.0,
simply modifyed to work on 3.3.5, so the video is made from this database, in 2009 hehe.
But it will come a newer video soon, a friend of me is working on that now.

Yep you will end " will I end up falling to my knees and crying ALL IS LOST " but you can save them by extracting the data from you current db and import in this db another way is to merge your db with this one but is a bit of hassle i would go with the first option

That's what I figured. How would I go about merging because I have some custom towns that took a ton of freaking work. Would I just dump every table and than one by one copy paste them (text) into the new SQL update tables? I feel like that could take a bunch of time for no where near as much as I've put into the custom towns.

I often merges databases, to get new items, or update world, quests + + in a simple way

*First i have to be sure that the source tables i want to merge matches structure,
either by update the structure on both target and source to same core with arcemus sql updates
or manually edit target to match source with SqlYog and use Alter Table, i then use
2x sqlyog up, one for source, one for target, and lines them up at screen side to side
and alter target table to be like source

Then SqlYog has a export option to save in CSV files, no this is a genial format.
CSV does not giving you errors if you have identical id,s and so on,
it simply skip all content you already have automatic and add only the ones you dont have from before.

So CSV is the easyest way to merge data. You make one CSV for each table you wanna merge,
can not make one for whole database.

But then again you dont need all tables either.

For towns and such, that are gameobjects you only need
to backup 2 tables into CSV, Gameobject_names and Gameobject_spawns tables.

For creatures, you need 3 tables: Creature_names, Creature_proto and creature_spawns
for items, item table
For quests, all quest related tables, to items, objects, creatures++
for loot, all loot tables you find, and ofc vendors tables.
Also trainer tables if you have custom trainers and so on

Then simply import all CSV into my repack, and voila, you have your citys, npc,s items and so on
added SqlYog Premium has also structure editor tools where it can compare both databases,
then automatic edit targets structure to match source, but that is more advance, you should
know what you doo before trying that part =)
