    [Profession] Cost of leveling enchanting

Not sure where else to post this as "Guides" doesnt allow questions.

How much (approximately) would leveling Enchanting to 500 cost?
Just a rough estimate, ofcourse it depends a lot on server economy etcetc but

Holy crap, that is a lot... I was thinking maybe 4-6k but I think 10k+ is more realistic, maybe take 2-3k off for only 500 but...

Cost me on a EU Server almost 10K and imagine that i had levelled my BS also in my alt toon and i had sent all the crafted items to my main to disenchant and take the item .
You have to spend 4k or 5k only to level it from 425 to 500 but as u said depends the server, imagine i was in a low population server and i stuck at 260skill cause i couldn't find any mats to raise my skill :S
But u will gain them back in no time, at least in my server i was making enchanting scrolls from 425 - 525 and i have sold a lot of them and gained at least 5k back and i made 3 Power Torrents and sold them from 2.5K each :P

If you level up Jewelcrafting at the same time, you can make a profit from levelling up both (only if you are patient though, low level ore prices can fluctuate extremely). Depending on server economy of course, but if you do it smart and sell the excess DE mats, jewelry and scrolls at the AH, you can make a few thousands of gold in the process. I did it over two months, constantly keeping an eye at ore prices and buying when they were low.

Enchanting is one of the most expensive and it isnt the hardest to farm the mats for it.

It's from like 3k-15k depending on your server economy.

On EU low populated servers like mine around 150+ activity in all europe its more then 15k to lvl purly by buying stuff from AH.
On higer populated servers in top 10 activity you can spend less then 5k to lvl it to max. f.ex since u hit that 450 skill on some servers stack of hypnotic dust cost less then 5-7g, thats a joke for lvling it up to 500...prob. the worst part is 280-300 and 400-450 since infinite dust and greater cossmic essence makes astronomic prices on some servers, on mine i sold essences for more then 50g each!! Dont forget that u can allways destroy abyss crystals witch cost less f.ex 50g and you can destroy them into like 3 essences or some 9 inifnite dusts, thats nice. Learn you way to lvl up it Cheers

I guess if you choose which enchants you make wisely, and try to sell them for a profit along the way, you could achieve it for ~8k.
It's all server dependent though. =)
