[Solved] The reason why you cannot attach a debugger

So you may have been tempted to try to dissolve through this new game called Rift, well your first thing might have been to try to start the game up and attach OllyDbg, or your favorite debugger. You may have noticed you cannot do that. The reason behind this is because the game developers have created a program in the background called "RiftErrorHandler.exe", when you start up the game, look for this program, it acts as a debugger for "Rift.exe" and when the program fails/die/crashes what ever you want to call it, this RiftErrorHandler.exe grabs the location of the EIP, all the 32 bits registers and then displays most likely an error message, like the one you see in WoW.exe when it crashes.

Solved: To attach your favorite debugger, click "CTRL-ALT-DELETE" when Rift.exe is opened and logged in, go to the proccess called "RiftErrorHandler.exe" end the proc. and then attach in my case OllyDbg, you will need to click the Play Button as OllyDbg places a int breakpoint on current instruction, after you do this you will see that your game is running and so is your Debugger! It's nice that you try to contribute but.. I do think anyone who can debug can figure out that the process is already debugged (especially when it's the error showing up when you try). It should help some people who shouldn't reverse if they didn't find it yet. =)
