rofl, blizzard wont give out keyloggers....thx for the laugh. you probably downloaded some "z0mg t3h 1337 h4xxx!" hack that got you it. or you used a "keygen" for a program that installed a keylogger. TBC is clean.

im talking about the emulator download....someone on emupedia.com posted a emulator download link and about everyone that visited that site downloaded it and everyone happened to get hacked, also if that isnt the problem it could be someone that made a website to look like Blizzards website with a fake keylogger download although i doubt that would be right
ya.. blizz wont hack their own users accounts.
i nearly pee'd my pants after reading this. i doubted it but i was still scared. im always safe to not hack and such and only exploits when, i know other are excepting it (Like some WSG exploits on 1.11 horde twinks on my server always used, we sort of got an unwritten agreement to use them ) but i always avoided ban at the best i could and when you ad this my heart shot to my gut for a couple of seconds...but now that i think about it i highly doubt this.... ive had it for a couple of days now and no stolen account or anything.
Sound like you want attention, considering it was beta.worldofwarcraft.com, that means it is from worldofwarcaft.com and for you to know "everyone got hacked from it" and no one here heard a thing is quite a stretch, but nice try (not really)

Rofl, Blizzard didn't put a keylogger on TBC...
Actually, with Warden... I wouldn't put it past Blizzard to put a keylogger on your computer. :P

Again, not trying to play a mods job, but can we ban this guy? all his posts are saying "Dont dowload it everyone gets hacked!!!!!!!!" which is pretty obviously not true.
EDIT:
...interesting...but it appears ts nothing to do with TBC considering no one else has seen any problems, but maybe you and all your friends tryed to download another thing? look into it please, before jumping to conclusionsOriginally Posted by WorldofWarcraft.com

You guys should really read his post. He clearly says that he is not talking about TBC from blizz , he's talking about the emulator on emupedia , for TBC. Also , I can confirm this , and name the keylogger if anyone wants too know the process name , since some people on my server tried too download this and got their accounts stolen. We all looked into it a little more and found a odd process.
Normally there are processes on your computer that uhh , are called SCVHOST.exe , well anyway , someone came up with the bright idea of making some links install a keylogger with a name near too exactly this , which is SVCH0ST.exe , with a 0 instead of a O.
I used both the sandbox, and the yawe emulator for TBC from that site... and I am not keylogged... accounts not stolen...
the sandbox .exe's are both clean
the emu servers .exe is clean mostly.. but it is a tad suspiscous

Just decided to check out proccess real quick, and to be sure i launched both TBC things and checked. of course, there are tons of svchost.exe but they are all in lower cse letters so itd be hard to sneal in a svch0st, which there was none of those or SVCHOST or SVCH0ST. im not the smartest tool in the shed, they may be ablle to hide them a bit, but i kinda doubt nothing happened yet, and it doesnt look to much like anything IS going to happen, so i feel safe
Although i did see a "PRONoMgr.exe" which scared me at first, but i looked into it and its PRO notify mesenger (basiclly)

hmmm....i doubt they would put a key logger in anything. and to idusy are you sure tht .exe isnt a pornomanager? i mean, cmon PRONoMGR sounds like pornomanager......

If thay did keylog it , it wouldnt make a prosses , because keyloggers are sneaky and hide them selfs from registry and taskmanager.
