New Logo on New Layout

Hey Guys,

Feel free to shift this topic to somewhere less obvious but I thought I'd start a thread for optimisation of the logo and also the development of supporting graphics for the new theme.

I had a stab at optimising this logo for the new layout - size and colour:



Matched up a lighter blue that might sit a little neater alongside the menu text etc. Hard to blend in with some of the green/red link text though :S

Also, this is transparent so you might be able to rip it straight off this page/direct link at the correct size/resolution.

Get rid of the shadw on the panda (it's ugly), other then that I think it's good.

Not really sure whats going on with that dodgy shadow/light bit - obviously it's not supposed to look like that! I can only assume its's something to do with the blue 'glow' underneath it in photoshop...

put the updated version up, looks sharp and it fixed the issue we had with the header links.

I c wut u did thar.

It was I who cropped your logo. For some reason, whenever it was cropped/made into a smart object, the quality fell drastically, and the lightning ****ed up.

Ay, and I spotted that the tiny stroke on the text underneath was HUGE on the re-sized version - which I guess is why it was harder to read. Do you prefer the lighter colour scheme?
