As my title admits... I ****ed up.
I didnt take things seriously and botted a public profile 24/7. A Paladin on my realm whispered me today;
Its quite obvious he caught me..."having fun botting?"
I simply responded a few minutes later; "Sorry, I had my little brother running around, I told him not to respond to anyone" I couldn't think of a better excuse, I was sure he was on to me.
"haha yeah ok. Lies i was frapsing your movements for a good hour and its not your brother playing your account" "i reported u yest just to let you know." "because your bots bags were full and i followed you and picked up what your bot wasnt taking" "sorta funny but i caught you" "but let me guess your using sgather" he answered.
I responded "Nah, I'm not botting. You can report me as you wish. Your the first person I've encountered to accuse me of botting. I am not worried."
"ok we will see when they see the videos i took of your sudden turns
and glitching when you cant get to a node" he answered.
"We'll see" I responded.
All I can do is hope Blizzard will overlook my report; or give me a 72 hour ban.
I don't want to stop botting. I want to start botting safely. I was wondering what some precautions professional botters use to avoid being banned?
I'm going to being creating/buying private profiles; as well as invest in GB/HB. What else can I do to ensure this wont happen again?
