Cataclysm Hits US Servers: Profits Abound!

As World of Warcraft Cataclysm is deployed on US servers today, the race to 85 begins. A famous EU player and Vblogger named Athene (who was previously interviewed on MMOwned) has already hit world first 85 by "boosting" his character with a group of loyal followers. Athene and his group wiped out entire zones of mobs in a matter of minutes, achieving level 85 in under 6 hours.

New materials such as obsidian are climbing as high in price as 900g per stack on heavily populated servers. It is a bloody and greedy battle of competition between miners and herbalists as entire zones are strip-mined of their resources. In the end, I'm going to place my chips on the bots.

Several players have already hit 83 or 84 on live servers, and several more server firsts will be met today as players scatter to level their professions, characters, and guilds in a frenzy.

Today, I ask my readers: What is your first goal in Cataclysm?

to get this damn game to install aaaggghhhh, have to re download and install all 30 gigs of wow cause of a bug, haven't played yet

Level to 85 without a hurry but so that I wont fall back in raiding. Also maybe form a new guild and work on leveling that.
