Gold maker in Winter Veil: Small Egg

Hey guys, i've basically been leeching for a while now so i thought i would contribute with something for once.

Basically, what i'm gonna talk about here is the use of Small Eggs in winter veil, they're gonna be used for quests and cooking recipes that are specific for The winter veil, and what does this mean for you? Well basically if you have some time you can farm them and buy the really low priced on AH now and stock them up for december 15th when the winter veil starts, and this winter veil is especially profitable because as you might know cataclysm is going to hit the 7th, which basically means that all that expansion economy inflation is still going to be lingering when winter veil hits, which will make the prices for Small Eggs even higher!

So when winter veil starts, post all the eggs on the AH and watch the gold start flowing

A GREAT way of farming the eggs would be outside silvermoon city, the dragonhawks there drop insane amounts! I think its about 155% dropchance(which means a chance for them to drop two!) So start stacking up those eggs and make a profit on winter veil!

I did this a couple of years ago, and it worked for about 3 hours. I think I netted about 400-500g before the market was saturated, and I could easily have made the same amount questing for an hour or two in Icecrown. With the farm time, sorting, and auction posting, it was frankly a waste of time in the end. I don't think the launch of Cata is going to make much of a difference tbh. But well done for pointing it out tho.

Yeah many people does it, but now with cataclysm around the corner many people will probably focus more on leveling and making golds other ways with new cataclysm stuff other than thinking about the winter veil, so it'll get alot easier for those who actually stock up on the eggs right now, i'll try to start selling my eggs for about 15g a PIECE, which means 300g per stack if this actually starts selling real fast you'll make alot of money in no time.

Two words: new realm . During the love in the air event, I made a new warlock on a new server. At level 30 ish he had over 600-700g just from selling those charm things. Low level ores and herbs normally only cost 1-3g per stack. Seeing as how these eggs can be farmed much faster and will be high in demand early on during the winter event (and the last two days as well for those slackers =p), it's a great way to get some starting gold.

It worked for me last year 30 minutes too.. Sold 10 eggs for 20g per egg.
