    Some unexpected downtime from some not very nice people!

    Well, we got our first proper 'attack' in quite a few months today.

    Unfortunately, I was a bit busy and didn't catch it fast enough. The server dropped for roughly an hour today due to massive connection flood. (We were receiving upwards of 19k connections per second)

    Luckily, I get to be lazy. The person attacking us was doing all this from a single IP.

    If you got caught in the downtime, I apologize!

    SUrly some proper protection is needed, it all came from one address so it should have been blocked automaticly with mod_rewrite (or write).
