When the last post was made 2/3 days ago, the thread is not considered 'dead'.

'Dead' would be if the thread hasn't had any posts in weeks/months/years (Usually at least 3 weeks)

Can I just say that you don't receive a beta key when you get a beta invite for Cataclysm. I have the Cata beta and I nor anyone who has the beta that I know have received a beta key, your account simply gets flagged as a beta account and a cata beta account appears on your battle.net account.

When did i say thats how i got it? I got the beta key from a friend of mine who got a few from an addon making site. I decided to sell it because my account is already flagged. Thanks for trying though!
