    Patrolling Mobs

I haven't been able to find an answer through searching and scouring the guides section, but I would like to know how one goes about making a mob patrol or at least move around their general area automatically as they often do in retail?

This may also be a good idea for a guide since I was unable to find one that covers it.

    Thanks

You should be able to get waypoint commands, find the npc that isn't moving around and change his waypoints and he should pat in the way you specified, don't quote me on that though, I've been able to do it in game, but not sure if it works after a restart.

Yes it will work just make sure your server saves after you set way points and it will stay in your db. To add to this select a NPC or add one and do your GM commands for waypoints. I do belive you need to stand where you want to add waypoint.

here r the commands for you

.waypoint add - adds a waypoint where you are standing
.waypoint show - shows the waypoints for the NPC
    .waypoint delete
.waypoint waittime X - how long you want the NPC to wait at that waypoint, in ms
.waypoint save - saves all waypoints, waypoints sometimes don't save after restart so i would suggest using this
