Recovering an old account (TBC)

So I decided to quit WoW shortly after Season 4, 2 years back. I sold the account and he played with it, but he has now sold it again over to some random. I was thinking of recovering my account, as I miss my S3/S4 drakes and the neat nostalgia gear.

The problem is the account being under someone elses battle.net, me having only the WoW accounts full information (Registered under my name). I have a picture of my ID ready, with all the necessary information.

What action would Blizzard take? Would they destroy the other battle.net, having several games registered on it (SC, Warcraft I II III and Diablo). Would they move the WoW account under my battle.net?

If anyone experienced with the same issue would give me a heads up, I would really appreciate it.

Call em, say you got hacked a while back but could never find the CD keys etc, but have them now(assuming you do) and see if you can recover it.

I'm pretty positive I can get it back, but the question is at what price? Is there a risk if I decide to take a shot at it?

They will either say Yes or no. Just be curtious when you call say you quit when you were hacked back then and never bothered to recall it. And the repercussion is Person that owns it bets pissed and it leads back to you or the account toons are lost and not able to be brought back.

I sent them an e-mail saying I quit after 3.0 and came back shortly after RAF was introduced, wanting to level whole new characters on a whole new account, fast. Didn't bother to check with my old account till today.

if you still have all the account info why cant you just get the info sent to your e-mail? unless the guy you sold it to first changed the e-mail then just ignore me

BTW i would call its faster than e-mail and its better to talk in person you can explain in more detail that way

you can get it back for sure, no risks involved, just call em up and say you've got all info, you got hacked etc.

After some account confusion, I finally got my account back. Demerged from the old battle.net and added to mine.
