i have a single cataclysm beta code i would like to sell. just log into your battle.net account, click add game, type code, and you're good to go

i don't know how trading works here or how to prove my integrity, but if you are interested i can read up on it. if you are deeply concerned, we can look into using some sort of middle man for the exchange.

i understand your suspicion, but if you are interested, i will go to any length to prove to you that i have the key

Correction: There are some codes as i have seen a giveaway at another site where lots of people have gotten them and repped/posted etc.

i am an impoverished addon author who desperately needs money in the near future

for addon authors, they gave out a bunch of codes to sites like curseforge and wowinterface. these sites then give the keys to authors. they can't be applied directly to the accounts because curseforge, wowi, etc don't know the account info of their authors, and blizzard can't be bothered to manage the author application process.

if you know of anyone who has gotten into the beta as an addon author, you can ask them, and they will tell you that i am being honest"

Wow, never heard so much BS in my life lol. First of all, theres no addons in the beta. And they havent confirmed that they WILL 100% be there.

Second of all, Blizzard dont care about freaking addons lol.

sigh, was that really necessary? you could have just found an addon writer, asked if it was indeed a legitimate source of beta codes, and then posted "it might be real" here.

i really don't want to damage the addon author beta key program, which is an excellent way for authors to prepare their addons for new releases. i've used the keys for previous betas, but i'm desperate now. =/
