The Maelstrom! Plus other Cata changes.

We've come upon a video of the Maelstrom, and boy, does it look gorgeous(ly dangerous)


For anyone who doesn't know what the Maelstrom is, it is an arcane vortex created by the cataclysmic implosion from the Well of Eternity at the center of the then-supercontinent of Kalimdor, when the Highbourne reigned from the cities of Zin-Azshari and Suramar. The Well was opened when the Moon Guard attempted to summon Sargeras, lord of the Burning Legion, into the world of Azeroth.

Deathwing's human form seems to take a lot of design elements from Zelda: Twilight Princess, in my opinion. It seems Blizzard is taking a turn for a new art style in World of Warcraft, and it looks vastly different than the Warhammer and LotR-influenced Wrath of the Lich King Expansion.
