Dungeon Leveling > Questing?

Now it's time for a big question! Is dungeon leveling or questing faster/better and why?

Let's debate this now!

I say dungeon leveling + dungeon quests.

If you're a tank defiantly dungeons, healer, a combination of dungeons and questing, and dps questing while having que on because the ques are loooong.

Yeah I personally just liked healing through dungeons. Dps takes too long to queue for... =/

Indeed, it takes like 30 mins, are you kidding me? Do quests as DPS. If you have a class like druids, which is tankable, but you wish to DPS, just be a bear for the levels and respecc on 80. But definitely, if everyone had instant queues on Random Dungeons, it would be the best way.

Im not sure.
At the moment i am lvling a Prot Pala just with the dungeonfinder. He is lvl 20 and has instant invites as a tank. Problem is if you got a very bad group with bad DPS then it takes a very long time untill you have finished the dungeon....

My opinion: As a tank it can be faster than questing IF you have got a nice group.

If you are a tank/healer then try to gather a group around your level which you know can do the job efficently and just keep running with them

I just leveled a Prot Warrior, and the last quest I did was @ level 10. However I used Dugi's dungeon guide (Horrible interface) to gather dungeon quests, and do each dungeon at least once to get all the quests.

Imo It's 100% more efficient than questing. UNTIL level 70, once you hit Northrend, it is WAY faster to just quest with Dungeons in between.

Depending on your battlegroup, it seems faster to just quest vs. doing dungeons, as the queue time can be upwards of 30 minutes.

Just quest whilst waiting for the queues, works best imo

Dungeons = Faster for tank/healers.
Questing = Slower, but ALOT more gold.

Ive leveled a tank and healer dungeons really aren't that fast, healers get dungeons faster at low levels by the way. Questing is always superior I believe. Then again if you can put up with doing the same dungeons over and over you may gain more.

All depends tbh dungeon are really good and really fast if you got a good group but can also be really slow and boring if you dont have a good group. If you are going to do dungeons best stick with your guild.

This is how i leveled

80-82 (Black Rock Mountain, with guild)
82-83 (Questing)
83-85 (Questing while in lfg once ever hour or so)

Got there in just under 24 hours played which was quite quick and would of been alot quicker if i never done randoms and stuck with just doing guild runs.

So my answer to your question would be if you have a guild with good player do dungeons to level with them, however if not stick to questing because randoms you may end up with a bad group.
