Amulti Banwave?
Users of Nopt's hit hack "Amutli" could be subjected to an upcoming banwave by Blizzard. Users are wildly speculating that this banwave will be as large as the LuaNinja bans. Nopt himself has announced that his hack is now unsafe for use on live servers as of 5-27-10.
Amulti was a popular hack that allowed users to fly, teleport, and noclip through walls in live servers. Now that the hack is supposedly no longer safe for use, it has many users wondering if the hack's popular use will invoke an oncoming banwave.
Blizzard's TOS will be updated to cover the policies regarding the use of hacks/bots/third-party software in further detail. Several users have already begun to transfer their characters to alternate accounts, as a result of the fears of an oncoming banwave.
Banwaves in the past have traditionally been wildcard, and have occured on no specific date or observable patterns of dates. Judging by the popularity of the Amulti hack, it is safe to say that any banwave regarding the hack will affect many players.
We are unsure when this banwave will take place, and whether or not users will receive a 72-hour suspension, or a permenant suspension from the offending WoW account.
