One More Mount for "Mountain o' Mounts"

Hi

I just discovered after a faction change , that one of my mount don't "change faction" the Mammoth of Mei Francis (Dalaran). The mammoth cost 200 badge.( Reins of the Wooly Mammoth - Item - World of Warcraft )

But, it's possible to buy the alliance and horde "version"

Edit : clarification, it's possible to LEARN and USE the two mount. And the two mount count for the achiev (ofc)

Hmm, I remember this post from before, but the thread got deleted, not sure why, but either way he/she wrote the same stuff as i quoted O_o i will search and see if it was 'cause of a repost, anyways "not an exploit" + exploit section dosen't go together .

is it actualy posible to buy and learn it? from what i can see in the screenie is u learned the horde version and are able to buy the alliance one. will it actualy allow you to learn the mount?

Looks great, an easy way to get one of the last couple of mounts you need for the achi!

You cannot learn OTHER faction items due to RACE restrictions.
If you can see, theres race restrictions for the mounts so im guessing if you learn the allie mount and then faction change and buy the horde mount, it will probable show you already learned it.
Can anyone confirm?

Hence it probably works the same way faction gear works.
Post some HORDE BS-LW patterns/designs only on a allie AH and see how many dumb ppl buy it but caint do *** with it lol

It happend to me to when i faction changed from ally to horde. But i made an ticket to gm about this, but the only thing he did was giving me the horde mount and didnt removed the ally mount^^

Are you sure this works on live? I'm almost positive you are on a french private server because everyone is speaking French, yet the game/server is in English. Also, you have full T10, which isn't too common.
Oh well, if it is confirmed on live I will +Rep. Nice find either way.

A) It might not be full T10, a lot of items from bosses look like the Rogue T10 e.g. Helm from Princes, Shoulders from Deatwhisper.

B) There are around 3 guilds on my server where most of us have full T10 heroic, with VoA and the free emblems T10 is common.

If all this holds true then you'd be able to learn both engineered bikes if you have the gold to buy them.
There are separate ones for each faction:
Mekgineer's Chopper
Mechano-hog

So a faction change for $30 would be cheaper than buying the one horsey for $25
