[World Building]First Edit (LOTS OF PICS)

So I started to make a new area for GMs on my all gm server and after much trouble with the texturing on noggit I more or less took TM and altarec mountains and redid the terrain and put in houses and a mall area hope you like it!

    ADMIN HOUSES

    GM MEETING HOUSE

BRIDGE JOINING UPPER GM HOUSES AND GM BUILDING

    UPPER GM HOUSES

    GM MOUNTAIN ENTRANCE

    LOWER GM TOWN 1

    LOWER GM TOWN 2

    MALL ELEVATOR

    MALL

still working on getting the train going but you get the idea

The edit itself isn't so great to be honest. But fairly good for your first.
There is a lot of good things about this, and hopefully this advice will help you with future edits.

σ- Modelediting isn't really about 'Getting it done'. It's all about creativity, and making something you'd think you would never see on retail.

    σ-
The concept of this is dynamite. A town, with a descent which leads to some kind of titan temple. However, you made it look more like something you would find on a private server with house gameobjects (The Yellow house, the little chapel, etc)

    σ-
I'm sure your players probably won't care, but adding some 'Umpf' to the terrain (By adding some realistic bumps, hills, paths, etc) and by adding and blending some textures. (Grass, dirt, rock)

σ- Worldbuilding can be summed up into one word: Aesthetics.
(Which is a fancy word that means 'Beautiful') Keeping this in mind, besides buildings, you should really focus on spawning some detail doodads. You probably don't live in a neighborhood with just houses.. There's trees, bushes, signs, fences, boxes, etc. Your average .adt file should have at least 100 types of objects. (Although not necessary)

Please do not take this as flaming you, it is only constructive criticism, at that, good luck with your next project! )

I understand what you mean with the bushes and things, which I went for that blended natural look off the mountain and theres fences trees bushes plants ect amongst the little towns (fog makes it hard to see) but on the mountains I went for an ominous feel and I wanted it to be a mystical sight on the mountain which is why there is only magic trees and the nice buildings, sadly i would do more with texturing but When i texture in noggit I can only have one base color in each chunk otherwise when i blen over it it doesnt texture the grid with the second layer =( but then again this only took about a week to do
