Changes to MMOwned

To those few dumber than a brick: This was a april fools prank - if you have read the whole thread you would have seen "Highlight the text"

We have decided to do some changes to the website before we swap to vb4. Our userbase has grown a lot in recent years and we have therefore made the decision to let everybody start from scratch for MMOwned v. 2.

We believe that it would be better if all members were equal so we wouldn’t have the member to member hate because of different usergroups. Only donation and staff status’ will remain.

What does this mean for you? This means that you will lose all your reputation and be renamed to a Lazy leecher, UNLESS you have recently joined, then you will have half the advertisements that our “older” members will have, due to the fact that you haven’t had the same amount of time to contribute in as they have.

The changes will start tomorrow when I, Ket and Apoc are not hungover anymore. So if you have 80 rep or above you might want to start mass-reading the threads in the restricted sections today.

We have also decided to do some changes to the donation system since these changes will most likely cause more people to donate to MMOwned. We have therefore decided to change the minimum donation fee to be 75USD for 6 months donation status, this change is primarily done because Ket, Apoc and I would like to go meet up on Hawaii this summer over a Piña Colada on the beach before going for a surf. This arrangement just wouldn’t be possible with the donation fee of 15USD as it is at the moment.
