While i am not 100% sure of this, I do believe an older version of MWCS (The one released immediately after 1.11, yet not the .88 version) allows you to see wire frame of the .adt files. About 99% sure. Check into it.

    Re: .adt files?

yep it worked, the newest version from curse gaming (is actually not new) version .7 is the one that shows, thanks =)

but 1 other thing I was wondering, I wasnt expecting them to be graphical, I was expecting them to be text, how would I go about editing a .adt?

Do I need to convert it? or... Idk, Cause I was reading a bit on wowdev, and i figured It would be a buncha #'s and stuff not and actuall image

    Re: .adt files?

I do believe that the coding used in MWCS allows them to be put into graphical form for ease of seeing the layers used, so you know which areas are specific to each *******.adt... As for actually editing it is something that i personally have little experience so I dont really wish to hint towards something i dont extensivally have knowledge of, and could mislead you all. On wowdev I do however believe there is a program that would allow a different "Look" Into the .adt files. Personally I find MWCS to be the best for finding which .adt you wish to edit simply due to the graphical projection.

Perhaps to help you out a bit further you could let me know if by edit you mean replace with another .adt or actually hard edit them (Creating your own or removing chunks of it, something to that extent)
