Tapatalk Review

Hey guys,

In the past couple of days MMOwned has been using Tapatalk - iPhone Android Nokia forum app for vBulletin and phpBB
for people that have an iPhone or an android phone but still want to browse the forums.
I know a lot of you have been telling Apoc to make a mobile version of MMOwnend and this is the tapplication that comes closest to this.

How do I get Tapatalk?

For the iPhone:

1. Go to the App store
2. Search for Apatalk
3. Click the free one
4. Download it


For the android phones:

1. Go to the android market
2. Search for Tapatalk
3. Download the free one

How does Tapatalk work?

Alright, since I only have an iPhone I couldn't tell you how it works on an
android phone but I'll try my best to tell you how it works on the iPhone.

Connecting to the site you want to use on tapatalk is incredibly easy.
All you have to do is open Tapatalk, go to search and type in "MMOwned".
From here on it's quite easy, you click on MMOwned, log in using your username
and password and you can start browsing!


What I like about Tapatalk

Since I have my laptop with me 24/7 I'm not really using this software except
for the times that I'm in class and my teacher doesn't want me to use a laptop.
I have to say that this software is very easy to use and completely retard-safe
so that made me feel good. I just logged in, went to forums, clicked the
newsteam section and read some posts, went back to the main forums easily
and just had my MMOwned fun.

What I don't like about Tapatalk

A big part of MMOwned for me is the shoutbox. However, this does not work on Tapatalk which is really too bad.
This is understandable though as the shoutbox isn't something Vbul made.
This means that I won't be able to use the shoutbox at all on my iphone which
might be something MMOwned will look in to in the future but that's all just ideas.
Now, the free version doesn't allow you to make replies to threads or
reply to PM's but the premium version does which makes it all even better.
If you have a jailbroken iPhone I'm sure you can find the premium version for free.

shouldnt u not care about what we get and what we dont get since it will never be your problem
We do have ads as our choice so we can see if there is anything screwed up or clearly wrong in the ads.

you CAN get on the bawx on an iphone quite easily using the standard web browsing app that comes with the iphone.

This new app is simply for browsing the forum quickly with no ads.. period

if you wanna get it get it.. if not dont-- but quit QQing about it not having the bawx.. if u wanna be in the bawx simply go to mmowned.com on the web browser

furthermore... the Iphone 3gs puts the palm pre to shame
