How to now connect to Private Servers with a BNET merged client.

As of today, logging into retail downloads this quick update. That update deletes your realmlist.wtf file and rebuilds your client for BNET login.

You will need to now go into your WTF folder and you will see Config.wtf go all the way to the bottom of the file and either add if not there or change it if it already has a realmlist setting to

SET realmList "logon.pservername" Be sure to include the " " too!

Save then relaunch WoW.exe

My realmlist.wtf file is still there, and the config file just gets overwritten by the realmlist.wtf file

hmm are you enUS? Mine got eaten when I logged in a bit ago and the downloader ran then updated real fast. Once i updated config.. using my account info it connects to my server using my bnet info it connects to retail

I have my realmlist set to a private server, which has different account details obviously then my retail account.
But if I use my retail details to login, I somehow, get through to retail; without it being in my realmlist.

Yeah I found if the username has a @ in it, it auto connects to bnet. That's what that instant patch does.
