After you have compiled Arc_Emu, copy ad exe from trunk or tags/extras folder (map extractor) to your world of warcraft folder (the first page that you come to when you open it). Run ad exe, this will create maps.
using visual C# compile mpqe which is also in extras folder in Arc-Emu. copy ArcEmu English DBC Extractor,sfmpq.dll, and the MPQE extractor from your bin release folder to your world of warcraft/Data/EN US folder. run the ArcEmu English DBC Extractor, follow on screen instructions. This usually doesnt take long depending on your system.
using visual C++ (visual studio 200x express) compile from src folder/collision tools both vmap extractor and vmap assembler. run vmap extractor from where it is(src/collision tools/extractor/bin/release)
the vmap extractor will produce a folder called buildings.
copy maps from world of warcraft (first page on open),and the new buildings folder to world of warcraft/data/enus The dbc folder should already be there if not copy it to there also. from src/collision tools/assembler/bin release copy vmap assembler to world of warcraft/data/en us, also. now create a new folder and name it vmaps (inside data/en us)(if you do not create vmaps folder, the vmap assembler will not run). run vmap assembler this should create your vmaps for you. please note that this will take some time to complete just let it run 'til its finished.
note: some antivirus programs will interfere with these operations, so you may have to disable the antivirus or temporaily uninstall them.
