In this thread i will post some general info regarding emu.

Tip 1 - Revisions. Here you learn how to make a tbc or pre-tbc server.

Revisions

For this tip you need Tortoise SVN

Ever wanted to play on your own made pre-tbc server or tbc server?

If so, then this tip is something for you.

Make a new folder, and name it something fitting. Like TBC or Pre-TBC.

Now at this step i assume that you already have installed Tortoise SVN.

So, right click on the folder and choose SVN Checkout.



A window should now popup.

Where it says URL of repository put your svn adress.

Heres the svn for ascent.

http://mmoforge.org/svn/ascent/

If you now go down to the bottom of the window you should see that you can choose between 2 choices.

Head Revision

or

Revision

Choose Revision, and then press Show Log.



Now 2 windows should popup, one which wants you to put in your Username and Password.

Just put anonymous in Username, and press OK.



Now the second window should be a little more visible

It should look something like this.



Press Show All at the bottom left corner.

Wait for it, till it has loaded.

Now you just find the right revision for you.

If you want TBC 2.4.3 then i suggest rev5083



If you want pre-TBC 1.12 then i suggest rev1971



When you've decided what rev you want then just press ok.

Now, where it says revision it should now be your rev.
