Windows XP Tricks:

Change Internet Explorer Name:

1. Go to Start > Run > regedit

2. Now a window with stuff will pop up

3. Double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER.


4. Double click on Software.


5. Double click on Microsoft.


6. Double click on Internet Explorer.


7. Go down to Main.

8. Click on it (NO DOUBLE CLICK!!)

9. Click right IN the table and go to new.


10. Click on this

Sorry for german sreen

11. Call the new file "Window Title"

12. Click on the "ab"!!!

13. Now write in the name you what.. i write in Wimdöwz Intanetz Exblora :P

14. Click on "OK" and close it.

15. Start Internet Explorer.. xD


Change Password:

1. Go to Start > Run > cmd

2. A black box pop up.

3. Type in "net user" (WITHOUT " " !!)

4. Now you will see all user on the computer.


5. Chose a user and type in the box "net user [User Name] *" ( [User Name] = Your User name )
I type in "net user Administrator *" (WITHOUT " " !! Don't forget the * )

6. Now he ask for your new password. Type in "123". Hit Enter

7. It will ask again for the password. Type in "123". Hit Enter

Now your password is changed :wave:


How to get past blocked Websites:

1. Way

1. Go to Start > Run > cmd

2. A black box pop up.

3. Now you need the the blocked website. I take myspace ^^

4. Type in ping myspace.com (Without www !)

5. Now you get the IP of myspace. (216.178.38.104)

6. Copy the IP into your address bar and hit Enter.

2. Way

1. Go to http://www.google.com.mx/ or to http://www.google.de/

2. Search for myspace.

3. When u found it.. DONT click on it... click on "Translate this site" or "Traduzca esta página".. what ever!

4. Now you will get a spanish myspace.. yeah ^^

5. It should look like that

6. NOW! Change the

Why does it work?
Cause you translate an english site to an english site ^^

Start Wars Easter Egg:

1. Go to Start > Run > telnet

2. A window will pop up and wirte in an "o" (Without " ") and hit enter.

3. It will say "to" and write in "towel.blinkenlights.nl" (Without " ") and hit enter.

4. Now you can watch Star Wars..! (w00t oMgz!!)

The Star Wars thing is LEET!! +Rep for that.
Though that is not "really" hidden, it's an external Telnet Client
that you connect to. It's not really hidden in windows,
cause Telnet have like allmost allways been there.

But i dont know for how long the Star Wars have existed xD
