[tut]How to make a vendor

I have noticed not a lot of tuts on vendors even if there was one no can find it is is so old.

So lets start off by making the items
1. go to wow-v.com
2. create an account if you dont have one
3. click create on the tabs
4. click weapons or armor or what ever you want to make
5. fill the fields out
6. go to the bottom submit it
7. download it but make sure you download the right one
8. save file
9. excute batch file
1. open database

2. for navicat open the database

3. right click on it

4. select excute batch file



Now you have the item now for the Npc
Depends which way you want to create it. if you choose wow-v go ahead im going to explain it out through the databse.
1. open up your world database
2. click on creature names
3. fill out the fields there explained below

1. entryID = spawn number

2. names = name

3. subname = name below name

4. info_str = click it and backspace

5. Flags1 = 0

6. type

1-Beast

2-Dragonkin

3-Demon

4-Elemental

5-Giant

6-Undead

7-Humanoid

8-Critter

9-Mechanical

10-Not specified

7. family

0-No Family

1-Wolf

2-Cat

3-Spider

4. close and save
5. open creature_proto

1. most of all the stuff is self explaintory ill list the diffucluts ones

2. entryid - same as before

3. npcflags - 4 for vendor

4. attacktype = 0

5.can ranged = if you want him to attack with range

6. combat_reach = 1

7. bonding_radias = 1

8. auras = 0

9. invistibly type =0

10. death state = 0

11. the rest at 0


Now you have your creature and items time to merge em
1. open up vendors table
2. fill the fields out

1. entryid = npc id

2. item = id of item

3. amount of how much sold

4. max amount leave at -1 if you want infinte sold

5. inctime if you put a max the time it refills at

6. extend_cost leave at 0 unless you want it to cost an item

Your done save and exit and restart server.
