Balance Druid DPS Guide 3.1

I took a look around and noticed there's very little lazerowl love on these forums, so I decided to add write a guide for Balance druids and hope that it's not a re-post and that someone may find this helpfull.

Consumeables, Enchants and Glyphs

Recommended Enchants
Head - Arcanum of Burning Mysteries (Kirin Tor Revered)
Boots - Icewalker (+12 hit / +12 crit)
Cloak - Greater Speed (+23 Haste)
Shoulder - Greater Inscription of the Storm (Sons of Hodir Exalted)
Gloves - Precision (+20 hit)
Wrist - Supperior Spellpower (+30 SP)
Weapon - Mighty Spellpower (+62 SP)
Chest - Greater Stats (+10)
Legs - Brilliant Spellthread (+50 Spellpower / +20 Spirit)

Recommended Consumables
Flask - Greater Flask of the Frostwyrm (+125 SP)
Battle Elixir - Spellpower Elixir (+58 SP)
Guardian Elixir - Elixir of Mighty Thoughts (+45 Intell)
Food - Tender Shoveltusk Steak or Firecracker Salmon / Fishfeast.

Recommended Glyphs
Glyph of Starfire
Glyph of Moonfire
Glyph of Insect Swarm

Now that we have your enchants, glyphs, stats and consumeables sorted we will move on to the dps rotation.

The Rotation
What you ALWAYS do when starting a fight is apply Fearie Fire, Moonfire and Insect Swarm. Spam Wrath untill Eclipse procs, once Eclipse procs you want to spam Starfire for the full duration, do NOT refresh your DoT's untill the eclipse proc fades. Don't start spaming Wrath right away when the Eclipse proc goes away, as it does have a cooldown before it can proc again. Refresh your DoT's and keep spamming Starfire untill the Eclipse cooldown is on around 3 seconds left, then start spamming Wrath and keep your DoT's up.

Also worth mentioning that at one point in the video he mentions having both Squawk and Awe and Quartz, this is not the case anymore as Squawk is outdated and you would be much better of installing Quartz and a extra addon for it called Quartz Eclipse.

Stats To Focus On
1. Hitrating - 263 WITH Balance of Power and Improved Faerie Fire
2. Spell power
3. Spell haste
4. Spell Crit

You should focus on your stats in this order, the same goes for the gems you put in your gear. Try to land on close to or a bit over 20% crit unbuffed to make sure you keep eclipses procing smoothly.
