    Severity of phishing emails?

    Hey.

I was wondering, just how serious is it to send an email getting people to download a fake program that they enter there account details into?

I'm not wanting to use NODMailer as it just doesn't seem to work for me, and I found a great service for it. It'll give me stats and that aswell so w.e

Problem is, I must enter my CC details to send like 2k+ emails. Therefore easily traced right back to me.

How serious is this? Would they find me? Do they care? What could even happen if they do?

    Cheers .. From a noob! =D

It depends. Blizzard can ALWAYS trace back an e-mail to you. But they don't. Your problem here would be if the website/program that is requesting your info has a ToS or EULA that doesn't allow you to send phishing e-mails. If that's the case, I wouldn't use that site/program because you probably will get in some sort of trouble. You could always buy a Visa/AMEX giftcard and use that. Just put fake info when it asks for Address/Name/etc.

Hm the only problem i'm seeing is the manner in which I've obtained the email address'.

I doesn't mention anything atall about Phishing, just that it could be trouble if you haven't got permission for the emails you hold.
