Site Trade Reputation

Yes, I know you think I mean 'durr I want to trade rep.' but I don't. I mean this for the Trading Section. If you have a sucessful trade, you can leave a trade reputation which shows on the user bar.
I know this was suggested 2 years ago..(http://www.mmowned.com/forums/sugges...trade-rep.html) but it was basically rejected back then for the reason of the section not being active enough.

I think that this might help prevent scamming between MMOwned members..which I know has happened...So people could check if people really do have a good trader rep. Not just paying attention to their reptuation but their TRADE reputation

I believe the section is now decently active to get this vB addon.

I have done a bit of searching and found iTrader. It stopped developing at 2.5 but maybe with a bit of luck, it can be updated by some 1337 coder *coughAPOCcough*.

On vBulletin.org, the mod is in the modification graveyard but I managed to get a copy of it. If an admin/mod/someone who can update it needs it, just ask or PM me.

Rep isn't what counts imo. If you have a lot of trade rep even with a small/medium amount of rep, he may as well be elite.

I think rep is hit or miss, 1 bad thing can ruin a whole persons reputation even if it wasn't their fault.

reputation numbers are a joke guys. easily exploitable to gain 'trust'. when it comes down to it. I wouldn't trust any of you guys without seeing much proof that your not going to **** me over.

This is actually a good idea. It's going to be great to know that MMOwned Members who sell/trade/buy from other MMOwned members know that they are safe when dealing with transactions.

NEGATIVE - Couldn't other members just +REPZ someone? False +REPZ = FAIL. If there was a better way... like to show evidential proof than that'd be great - but I don't think there would be people that are trustworthy enough to carry this task. Maybe a few - but not a lot.

Yes they could and with the amount of reptrading we already have then it would be useless
