[Question] Blizz Authenticator

Been scamming for a while now, but never really took interest in the authenticator.
Just recently added it using my iPhone and went over some threads here to see the real usage of the authenticator as a scamming tool.

To my understanding, it seems you can add an authenticator to an account and that will prevent the victim from logging on. (Duh!)
But, say I scammed an account, it got recalled, and the OO sees the authenticator. Can the authenticator be removed by a simple phone call to blizz

OR

(As I've read in other threads) Is the only way to remove the authenticator by sending in personal account info?

I'm fairly sure that a simple phone call will do it. I seem to have the notion that when the account is recalled, it is automatically removed, but I'm unsure.
