    Is it safe for my account?

    i merge an account with my first and last name(On the bnet acc) to a bnet account, then xfer it over to my account and changing the toons name.

    Will i get banneD?

    Is it safe for my account?

    I'll clear it up.

    I find a lvl 80 alliance priest US. I merge with a battle.net account with my name and last name.

    I then xfer over to my MAIN account that has same first and last.

    You will probably not get banned on your main account. But, I have a hard time believing that Blizzard will not restore the 80 priest to the original owner - especially if they are able to provide all the pertinent information like CD key, secret question, phone # etc.

    ban the account that you merged from.. then you should be good.

    That could be good or bad. If the original gets recalled, your new char could be recalled.
    If not, then it's probably just some dumb kid that deserved to be scammed.
